ADAMAWA STATE EXCO APPROVES 264 MILLION NAIRA FOR THE  RESURCITATION OF FERTILIZER BLENDING PLANT

The Adamawa State Executive Council as presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the resuscitation of the state fertilizer blending plan at the cost of over a 264million.

The resuscitation plan is aimed at boosting food security which in the short and long run will aid state farmers to acquire the input at an affordable rate. 

This was disclosed during a press briefing by the commissioner of Information and Strategy, Dr. Garba Pella shortly at the 8th 2022 council meeting presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Four different items were approved by the council which include a variation of two township roads in Yola south at the rate of 237 million, and the construction of a storm-water drainage system in some communities of the Gulak, Shuwa of Madagali and huba of wuba at the cost of 366 million respectively.

Similarly, 59 million has been approved for the purchase of aluminium sulphate water treatment in Yola and Numan.
