AGRIBUSINESS: THE SABOTAGE OF IGR IN CATTLE MARKETS
Our attention has been drawn on the issue of taxes on cows that generated active debate among the public in recent times especially in Mubi and Gombi markets, the government is working in line with the provisions of the law and in the best interest of the state to bring about development but was given crooked descriptions by enemies who don't wish the state and his administration well.
the revenue collected from cow vendors in Adamawa cattle market cannot be compared with what they pay in neighboring countries and states where the same services are operated and urged the people to reflect and have the interest of the state and it's development at heart.
The N5000 taxed on cows in the market is not collected from cattle breeders within the state but a revenue taxed on vendors who come into the state to buy cows, I urged the people to disregard blackmailers who are working to instigate them against the government that is working had to formalize the market in order to improve their wellbeing.
The government has designed one of the best cattle markets in Mubi and soon construction will start in earnest, the development will be replicated in other markets located in other zones to enhance the state IGR and bring about more development to the state.
