Sequel to the ban on organic urea by the federal government of Nigeria, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has charged the members of the Chemical Society of Nigeria to start thinking inward in providing an alternative to boost food security across the country.


The Governor throw the challenge when he received the national leadership of the chemists who are in the state for their 45th national conference in Adamawa.


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri welcomes them to the land of beauty saying the security architecture of the state is well fashioned in a manner that will guarantee the success of their conference.

Acknowledging the importance of the chemists to the nation, Governor Fintiri says Adamawa is home to them, assuring of his support and cooperation.


Earlier, the National Chairman of the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Professor Nkem Moses commends the governor for his giant strides in infrastructure and other developmental areas.


He says after a familiarization walk within the state capital,  they have noticed the glittering outstanding performance of governance and the level of security reports at their disposal is encouraging.
