The Adawama State Primary Health Care Development Agency and WHO collaborated to launch OBR 1 with the goals of enhancing surveillance, enhancing immunization efforts, and ensuring a prompt and efficient response to any polio virus outbreak in the state. Hon. Kwadlama, who represented Michika L.G.C.'s Executive Chairman, Hon. Amos Drambi appreciated Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri for his cooperation with WHO in ensuring a polio-free community for a healthy environment.

As stated in his 11-point agenda, the Governor has given the issue of health the utmost attention.

The Outbreak Response 1 against Poliomyelitis will be for children from 0-59months for 20% and it is going to be conducted from one house to another at a Fixed Post I.e Facility Center.

The Rationale is to instill Immunity in Children under the age of 5 in Michika Local Government.
