FRESH CRISIS ROCKS ADAMAWA APC AS TADDAWUS LED LEADERSHIP REFUSES TO CONGRATULATE, WELCOME SEN. BINANI
There is still no report to confirm that the leadership of the APC in Adamawa state has congratulated Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani for having had her governorship ticket restored.
The state leadership of the party has commended the First Lady for her attempt to reconcile and restore unity withing the party and among members threatening to tear the party to shreds.
The APC, Binani Court victory would have been a worthy cause to the unity if genuinely as prayed for.
"One would have thought that with Binani extending an olive branch to all within the APC, believing in collective undertaking and in tune with the First Lady's call for cohesion and unity of the party members for victory, the state leadership of the party should in the spirit of equality and fairness congratulate the governorship candidate who with the total support of the national leadership of the party, reclaimed her ticket before the law, the same way the state leadership congratulated the First Lady over her appointment as the chairperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Campaign Team.
"However, as at the present, neither the state leadership of the party nor Binani has anything to confirm, rather publicly that the former was actually satisfied with the Appeal Court judgment by congratulating the latter.
"The party's vice chairman northeast who should equally have, has not congratulated Binani, or at least, we've not read it anywhere that he did, yet the party is calling for the unity of her members at the state level.
"If the ruling party in the state, in this case, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, a.k.a Fresh Air himself, would publicly congratulate Binani, there's no reason, convincingly too, for the APC Adamawa state leadership to deny or suspend appreciation expression by means of commending the national leadership of the party and congratulating the governorship candidate over victory before the law," Nicholas Theman, a concerned electorate would comment.
