CATHOLIC BISHOP OF YOLA DIOCESE, NIGERIA VISITS JIMETA YOLA CORRECTIONAL CENTRE AT CHRISTMAS 2022
His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza Catholic Bishop of Yola visited Jimeta Correctional Centre to pray with and encourage the Inmates to feel the love of the Baby Jesus even while living in confinement.
In his Christmas message he spoke about the importance of keeping hope alive and cooperating with the officials for proper reform. He donated drugs for the clinic, mats, buckets, soap, bathroom slippers, detergent and Disinfectants. The biggest gift was the donation of a cow 🐄 for the Christmas Meal.
H.E. Thanked the Correctional Centre Offials for their dedicated service especially the Officer in charge. He listened to the plea of those awaiting trial for a speedy dispensation of justice. He called on the Federal Government to improve conditions in the Correctional Centre.
Merry Christmas to the Inmates of the Correctional Centre and the whole world 🌎. May the birth of the Baby Jesus bring lasting peace and love to our troubled world.
