LEAGUE OF ADAMAWA STATE PERMANENT SECRETARIES PAID HOMAGE TO GOV FINTIRI

The Adamawa state permanent secretaries under the guide and leadership of Adamawa state Head of Service Dr Edgar Amos paid a solidarity visit to His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Government House Yola. 

The Head of Service while speaking to His Excellency, says that they were at Government House to salute the Governor and Felicitate with him over some of the Awards been honored on him which included presidential Award by Mr President on best Governor for Infrastructure Delivery. 

The HoS reassured His Excellency that they are comfortable with his style of leadership and they are ready to give in their unreserved support in his quest for second term bid. 

His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, while thanking the Astute Administrators for their show of love and solidarity, the governor opined that even though perhaps he may not be the most favorable candidate among some of them, he says the permanent secretaries are at liberty to support candidate of their choice but will not stop him from soliciting for a Support from them and their people, that they should know that their appointment as permanent secretaries was base on their merits and abilities not by connection because he doesn't know many of them and many of them wouldn't have been there if it is by connections. He however, jokingly gave the Perm Secs and their Commissioners 40% credit on the achievements recorded so far and took the remaining percentages for himself. 

He reminded them that God gives power to whom He wants, at the time He wants. Alhamdulillah he is now the Governor and in Sha Allahu he will be re-elected for the second term by the good people of Adamawa. 

Thus, His Excellency finally thanked them immediately and urged them to keep on giving their best and to work assiduously with their commissioners, also to continue teaching the commissioners, hence he personally learned alot from their memos.
