Job Description:

As the Senior Exams Marketing Manager, you will take charge of developing and executing the marketing strategy and plans for the cluster/country, ensuring alignment with the global and regional marketing strategies. Collaborate with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to achieve business targets and maximize the impact of marketing activities. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Exams within the region.


Main Responsibilities:


1. Strategy and Planning:

- Lead the development and execution of Exams marketing strategy, aligning it with global standards.

- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies and annual plans for Exams in the cluster/country.

- Develop and implement campaign strategies to maximize market reach and achieve marketing objectives.

- Ensure compliance with the British Council brand architecture across the cluster.


2. Consultancy, Analysis, and Problem-Solving:

- Utilize advanced marketing expertise to enhance strategies and approaches.

- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new practices to drive business growth.

- Understand the cluster's operational context and marketing challenges to make informed decisions.


3. Business Development:

- Implement innovative marketing approaches and techniques for enhanced efficiency and impact.

- Evaluate performance, ROI, and opportunities for growth using insights and evidence-based practices.

- Focus on audience and market segmentation for targeted marketing efforts.


4. Subject/Sector Expertise:

- Provide professional advice and support to meet local and Exams specific requirements.

- Develop high-quality marketing plans and solutions using industry expertise.

- Pursue continuous professional development to deepen expertise.


5. Commercial and Financial Management:

- Plan and manage the marketing budget for the cluster/country.

- Provide quarterly and year-end reporting on progress, budget, and risk management.

- Ensure cost-effective marketing practices and ROI.


6. Relationship and Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with marketing colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

- Develop personal networks to enhance knowledge and expertise.

- Ensure integrated and future-proofed marketing solutions.


7. Leadership and Management:

- Prioritize and plan work activities for effective marketing delivery.

- Share insights and ideas to improve operational efficiency.

- Support global marketing initiatives.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential:

- University Degree in marketing or business.

- Significant marketing experience in a large and complex organization at the national level.

- Demonstrable experience in developing marketing strategies and managing supplier relationships.


Desirable:

- Relevant professional accreditations (e.g., CIM, Melcrum, GCN, CIPR, WOMMA).

- Experience in a global organization.

- Successful remote line management experience.

- Knowledge of the Exams market.
