Police Academy 10th Regular Course Cadet Degree Programme: Registration and Application Guidelines
The Nigeria Police Force is commencing the application process for admission into the 10th Regular Course Cadet Degree Programme. This presents a golden opportunity for male and female Nigerians of good character to serve the nation.
Admission Requirements:
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess a National Identity Number (NIN).
- Have a JAMB result (2023 only) with a minimum of 180 marks, and select Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as their first choice in the JAMB form.
- Possess a minimum of 6 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or equivalent, including credits in English and Mathematics.
- Be aged between 17-21 years by 31st October 2023.
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, and meet height requirements of not less than 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
- Not be married or pregnant at the time of admission.
- Have a valid email address and phone number.
Application Process:
The application process is virtual. Interested applicants who meet the criteria above should follow these steps:
1. Visit the Academy's website: polac.edu.ng
2. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code for payment of the non-refundable fee of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only, through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria.
3. Make successful payment to access the application form.
4. Fill out the application form and upload scanned copies of SSCE results, birth certificate, and state of origin certificate.
Physical Screening:
After completing the online form, applicants are required to print out the completed form and guarantor forms. These forms should be filled and submitted during the physical screening at the Nigeria Police Academy. The date for the automated physical screening exercise will be communicated in due course.
Selection Process:
Successful candidates will proceed to the Computer Based Test (CBT), Automated Medical Screening Exercise, and Automated Interview/Selection Exercise. Those selected will undergo a 5-year academic and police training leading to a Bachelors Degree and commissioning into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police II.
