Amtrak California | A Great way to Explore the West Coast

One of the most fun and affordable travel adventure one can do is to ride the train. It could also be convenient and worry free to get to your choice of destination. Amtrak is a great rail travel provider in California.

You can explore California and its beautiful destinations through train. Here is the list of Amtrak California trains

San Joaquins

The San Joaquins provides a great way to connect your travel throughout California and the San Joaquin Valley. The San Joaquin Valley is California’s premier agricultural region, bordered on the west by the coastal mountain ranges, and on the east by California’s magnificent Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Death Valley National Parks. The San Joaquins runs multiple times daily between the San Francisco Bay Area (or Sacramento) and Bakersfield, where Amtrak Thruway buses connect you to great Southern California destinations. Other stops along the way include Stockton, Modesto, Merced, Martinez and Fresno. Easy Thruway bus connections to San Francisco are made at Emeryville.

Pacific Surfliner

Soak up the sun and splendor of the Pacific Coast as the Pacific Surfliner transports you (and your surfboard) to the great beach towns of Southern California, including San Diego, Oceanside and Solana Beach.

Or sit back and gaze in wonder as you glide past stunning vistas on the Coast Starlight, consistently rated one of America’s most scenic train trips. Snake along rugged inlets and cliffs that hug sapphire blue waters.
