Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Maxwell King PhD Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

- Required Language: English

- General English Language Test Requirements: Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0, or TOEFL score of 79+ with Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, and Writing 21.

- English Language Test Requirements for Arts, Business, and Economics: Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with no band score below 6.5, or TOEFL score of 94+ with Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20, and Writing 24.

Eligible Countries:

Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

- International students

- New Zealand nationals

- Australian nationals

- Australian permanent residents

- Australian humanitarian visa holders

Application Process:

To apply for the Maxwell King PhD Scholarship 2023, submit your application through Monash University's online scholarship portal. In order to be eligible, you must have submitted a scholarship application within the given year and either be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a PhD program at Monash University.

If you're a new applicant to MKS, ensure you've obtained an Expression of Interest (EOI) from the relevant faculty before commencing your application. The EOI submission deadline is October 31 each year. Eligible applicants from Rounds 1 through 4 of the same year will automatically be considered for this scholarship. One application suffices for both admission and scholarship considerations.
