The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) is currently accepting applications for its Ph.D. Scholarship Program. Application Deadline:

Eligible Academic Backgrounds:

- ISTA welcomes students with different academic backgrounds. Applicants with Bachelor's or Master's degrees in the following fields are encouraged to apply: biology, chemistry, neuroscience, mathematics, computer science, physics, data science, scientific computing, and related areas.

Selection Criteria:

The selection committee evaluates applicants based on various indicators, including:

- Undergraduate performance, especially in field-specific courses.

- Reference letters, preferably from an academic background, addressing analytical capabilities, technical proficiency, ability to work independently, and motivation.

- Statement of purpose, explaining past research experience and motivation for applying to the ISTA Ph.D. program.

- Additional relevant skills demonstrated through internships, research projects, participation in science Olympiads, programming languages, lab techniques, etc.

The Ph.D. scholarship program offers the following financial support:
