Former ‘Wild ‘N Out’ Star Jacky Oh’s Cause of Death at 32 Was Cosmetic Surgery Complications


 Comedian and rapper Jacky Oh, whose real name was Jacklyn Smith, tragically passed away at the age of 32 on May 31 in Miami. The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office has now disclosed that her death was the result of complications arising from cosmetic surgery.


Jacky Oh was widely recognized for her appearances on the MTV show "Wild 'N Out," where she was a part of the cast for five seasons, starting in 2014. Later, she ventured into the cosmetics industry, launching her own line of lip gloss products and also worked in real estate. She had a long-term relationship with another "Wild 'N Out" cast member, YouTuber DC Young Fly, whom she first met in 2015.


DC Young Fly continues to work on the show and is currently on tour, with dates scheduled through early next year. Additionally, he is set to host a reboot of "Hollywood Squares" called "Celebrity Squares," premiering on October 17 on VH1.


Jacky Oh is survived by three children she had with DC Young Fly: Nala, Nova, and Prince. She had also made appearances on other shows like "Marc + Jenni," "Shift Drinks," and "The Worst Couple."


In a statement following her untimely death, representatives from the "Wild 'N Out" show expressed their deep sadness, referring to her as a cherished and missed member of the Wild 'N Out family.


It was reported that authorities were called when Jacky Oh was found unresponsive, and despite attempts at resuscitation, she was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital.
