Wizkid's mother, Dolapo Balogun, passed away at the age of 66 in London on August 18th, 2023. After the somber occasion of her burial in October 2023, Wizkid has been in Nigeria, spending time with friends and family and recently releasing a new EP titled "Soundman Volume 2," which consists of four tracks.
In a recent live video with his fans and followers, DJ Chicken criticized Wizkid for not giving him money, and this marked just the beginning of his disrespectful comments. He went on to say that Wizkid would never regain his previous level of fame and insinuated that he would soon join his mother in the grave.
