Job Overview

Location: Lagos Mainland & Island
Salary Range: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 per month (Net)
Type of Employment: Full-time (On-Site)

Job Objectives

The Business Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the cinema, implementing business strategies to maximize revenue, and strengthening the company’s market position.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive cinema performance.
Manage cinema operations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Strengthen customer relationships and enhance the guest experience.
Identify and execute business growth initiatives.
Prepare and manage budgets to meet financial objectives.
Monitor market trends and industry developments, providing periodic reports.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies and operational standards.
Train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team.
Oversee film scheduling and marketing strategies to boost attendance.
Optimize retail profitability by minimizing losses and controlling costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Manage cash handling, financial transactions, and petty cash disbursement.
Handle vendor relations, negotiations, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management, retail, or business development.
Strong knowledge of business strategy, marketing, and revenue growth.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
Effective negotiation, networking, and communication abilities.

Work Schedule & Additional Benefits

Work Cycle: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Occasional weekend and evening shifts as required.
