Job Summary

The Field Implementation Support Officer will be responsible for monitoring healthcare service delivery, supporting antenatal and delivery services, mentoring facility staff, and ensuring program effectiveness. The role requires strong data analysis skills, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on maternal health experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maternal Health Service Monitoring

  • Track and report service delivery data and maternal health commodity availability.
  • Conduct supportive supervision and ensure accurate data collection.

2. Facility Support & Staff Mentoring

  • Provide mentorship to healthcare facility staff to improve maternal care.
  • Support antenatal care (ANC) and delivery services at health facilities.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Utilize ODK, RedCap, and Microsoft Office Suite for data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare project reports and track program impact.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Program Strengthening

  • Collaborate with facility staff and program partners for effective implementation.
  • Engage with community health organizations and stakeholders to strengthen services.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in health workforce development.
✔ Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
✔ Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and support facility-based healthcare teams.
✔ Preference for candidates residing in Delta, Lagos, Ebonyi, Plateau, Kano, Katsina, and Niger.
