Job Summary

The Storekeeper will oversee stock receipt, storage, and dispatch of medical supplies, tools, equipment, and other logistics materials. The role requires strict adherence to inventory protocols and security measures to ensure efficient supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock & Warehouse Management

Receive and inspect orders and deliveries, reporting discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage and organization of items for easy access.
Maintain stock levels by updating stock cards and inventory records.
Monitor warehouse temperature to preserve material quality.

2. Inventory Control & Reporting

Conduct physical stock counts as per scheduled intervals.
Track stock usage and report on stock levels, expiry dates, and damage risks.
Assist in preparing stock reports for management review.

3. Order Processing & Dispatch

Prepare orders and shipments in accordance with delivery schedules.
Label freight with destination, weight, and shipping details.
Ensure invoice quantity matches purchase orders and received goods.

4. Security & Compliance

Restrict warehouse access to authorized personnel only.
Report damage, loss, break-ins, or theft immediately.
Adhere to MSF policies, safety standards, and storage protocols.

5. ERP System & Supplementary Support

Use ERP (UniField) software for stock tracking.
Supervise daily workers in warehouse operations.
Assist in covering duties in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ University Degree/Diploma in Warehouse & Supply Management or related field.
✔ Previous experience as a Storekeeper is essential.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (computer literacy is a must).
✔ Basic mathematics and measuring skills.
✔ Fluency in English (local language is an advantage).
✔ Ability to carry out basic repairs is desirable.
✔ Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
