Job Summary

The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, and logistics coordination. The role involves working closely with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order & Procurement Management

  • Oversee local and international procurement to meet project needs.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and ensure timely supply chain operations.
  • Provide regular updates on order status and procurement activities.

2. Human Resources & Team Management

  • Supervise supply chain team members, ensuring efficiency.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide training opportunities.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate stock levels through quarterly inventories.
  • Ensure discrepancies do not exceed 5% by monitoring stock records.

4. Transport & Customs Management

  • Coordinate customs clearance and freight transport with relevant officers.
  • Provide real-time updates on freight arrival and any potential delays.

5. Supply Chain Administration

  • Maintain accurate documentation of supply transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with MSF protocols and supply regulations.
  • Prepare and present supply chain reports and analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management.
✔ Experience in NGO or humanitarian logistics is an advantage.
✔ Strong knowledge of procurement processes, warehouse management, and supply chain administration.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
✔ Knowledge of ERP UNIFIELD SUPPLY system is preferred.
✔ Strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
